  Cordle Getting Most Out Of Senior Year

One of the most memorable moments of Saturday's Rose Bowl celebration was Jim Cordle's eruption on the postgame dais. It might have seemed out of character for the reserved senior, but Cordle has been becoming more and more of an emotional leader as the year has gone on while still playing solid football along a jelling offensive line.

These days in Columbus, if it ain't one thing, it's another. The offense got into gear against a good Iowa defense only to see the Buckeye special teams and defense falter, so though the pass to Pasadena is punched, there remain plenty of plot lines as The Game approaches.

To say this weekend's game between Ohio State and Michigan will be an emotional one for Justin Boren would be an understatement. The former Wolverine lineman will make his first start in the Big House as a member of the Buckeyes, and it promises to be an emotional week for the junior left guard.

Now in his second year as head man for the Wolverines, Rich Rodriguez is hoping questions will soon cease about whether or not he fully understands what it means to be on the sidelines in the rivalry game.

Per the actions of their head coach, the Buckeyes have had Michigan in mind to some extent or another all year. Meanwhile, Michigan plays say they prefer to take the season one game at a time and think about Ohio State only when the time is right.

Jantel Lavender made 12 of 13 shots from the field while regularly outrunning the visitors from UAB in the open floor. Samantha Prahalis added 13 points and Brittany Johnson 15 for the victorious Buckeyes.
