Posted by: osugrad21.2 - 11-18-2009, 11:37 PM - Forum: Buckeye Football - No Replies

The scene Saturday night was not unfamiliar to the Ohio State football team or its fans. The Buckeyes held a late lead, but their opponent was threatening to steal a victory.   5 Answers: Iowa at Ohio State

With Iowa coming to town, we wanted to see how the Buckeyes would contend with a redshirt freshman quarterback, protect their own passer, take the ball away, prevent Iowa big passing plays and run the ball.

Cordle Getting Most Out Of Senior Year
Posted by: osugrad21.2 - 11-18-2009, 11:37 PM - Forum: Buckeye Football - No Replies

One of the most memorable moments of Saturday's Rose Bowl celebration was Jim Cordle's eruption on the postgame dais. It might have seemed out of character for the reserved senior, but Cordle has been becoming more and more of an emotional leader as the year has gone on while still playing solid football along a jelling offensive line.

Cus Words: Every Rose Has Its Thorn
Posted by: osugrad21.2 - 11-18-2009, 11:37 PM - Forum: Buckeye Football - No Replies

These days in Columbus, if it ain't one thing, it's another. The offense got into gear against a good Iowa defense only to see the Buckeye special teams and defense falter, so though the pass to Pasadena is punched, there remain plenty of plot lines as The Game approaches.

Posted by: osugrad21.2 - 11-18-2009, 11:37 PM - Forum: Buckeye Football - No Replies

From day one, Ohio State head coach Jim Tressel has made no bones about the fact that he knows how important it is to beat Michigan. Now in his second year as head man for the Wolverines, Rich Rodriguez is hoping questions will soon cease about whether or not he fully understands what it means to be on the sidelines in the rivalry game.
